Chris Christie sinking by his own lies on Bridge Closure Scandal

When embattled New Jersey governor Chris Christie stands before reporters and the national news media and declares "I'm not a bully", he is a bully. Not only that, he is a pathological liar. For a man known for his take no nonsense toughness to everybody, including reporters and political adversaries, to stand up and plead ignorance and the victim, is gut busting laughable. Christie claims he had no idea that a senior staffer and members of his inner circle were conspiring to punish a democratic mayor who refused to endorse him for re-election. Yes - Mr. tough prosecutor - these individuals did all this behind your back; and even after the story broke weeks ago, you joked it off. Why did you not investigate then if your staff were indeed involved, as many in your state were speculating as such.

Why did you hold on 'til the same time the world found out via documents your friend and senior staffer were forced to turn over -- to show outrage? Why did you not request email and text messages yourself to see if in fact they had nothing to do with it before stating so when the scandal first broke? Why are you attempting to now plea "Willful Ignorance" after the fact? You were one of the toughest prosecutors in this country prior to your governorship, now you expect us to believe that your staff alone moved to punish a political adversary by causing a traffic jam without your "go-ahead"? Also, why did you not fire these folks minutes after the damning emails and text messages were released to the public? Were you getting your story straight with your co-conspirators prior to taking action? What threats did you make in order to keep your partners in crime silenced? There are more questions than answers Big Boy - but one thing for sure - you are the classic definition of a BULLY!!!<br>
